Desktop Publishing - Basic Course:

• Students who have never taken a formal computer class will learn basic computer skills which include word processing, data basing, and spreadsheet design.
• Students will have exercises in learning keyboard basics.
• The course's principle objective is for students to feel comfortable and knowledgeable in utilizing a computer and related software in completing school wide tasks, assignments, and projects.

Desktop Publishing - Advanced Course:

• Students will learn how to design, create, and publish a variety of documents such as flyers, newsletters, greeting cards, business cards, maps, brochures and class projects.

The course's principle objective is for students to feel comfortable and be knowledgeable in utilizing multimedia software used in the commercial publishing world.

The Computer Lab has full networked access to the Internet!
